Publisher and method

Who publishes The Dividend Desk and how its figures are read

This page states who publishes the site, what the desk measures, how each figure is taken, why every table carries the hour it was read, who is responsible for what is stated, and how the site is paid.

The publisher and its limits

The Dividend Desk is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date and the hour it was read.

Rates are read from the text of the income tax convention between the United States and the Philippines as published by the US tax authority. Peso amounts are recalculated at a rate taken from two independent sources at every reading. The treaty rate applies to a holder entitled to it who has filed the required form with the broker.

How the measurement is taken and why the hour is shown

Under every table, the sources are named, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The desk does not estimate or adjust what the sources state. It copies the treaty rate and applies the current exchange rate from two independent sources at the moment of reading.

The hour the figures were read is published so a reader can see how fresh the numbers are. Exchange rates move during the day, and a treaty rate can change only when the official text changes. Showing the hour separates what is stable from what is not.

Editor responsibility and corrections

The editor named on the pages is the person responsible for what the site states. Maricel Dizon, Editor, cross-border holdings, reviews each page before it is published. The editor does not advise readers and does not approve any reader's decision.

Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the editor. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. If a reader believes a rate or a peso amount is wrong, the editor checks it against the same named sources and corrects it if needed.

Affiliate link and how the site is paid

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the only way The Dividend Desk earns money from its pages.

Following the link leaves this site. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. This desk has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.
