Writing to the editor
This page explains how to reach the editor of The Dividend Desk, what is worth writing about, what happens to a correction, and what the desk cannot answer.

What to report
The dividend desk publishes one measurement: the withholding tax rate on US dividends for Philippine residents, read from the text of the tax treaty as published by the US tax authority. If a figure on this site looks wrong, write. If a source has moved or closed, write. If you have a question about how the measurement is taken, write. The desk wants to hear about anything that affects the accuracy of a published number.
A report should name the page, the figure, and the source you checked. If you have a link to the current source, include it. The editor will compare the number against the named public source and fix the page if the figure is wrong. A reader who spots a stale link or a dead source is doing the work of maintenance, and the desk treats that report as a correction request.
How a correction is handled
When a figure is corrected, the correction is dated on the page. The old number is replaced, and a note says when the change was made. This desk does not silently edit a number. The date tells a reader how recently the figure was checked and whether the page changed after it was first read.
A correction is not an apology; it is the record being put right. If the error came from a source that moved, the new source is linked. If the error came from a misreading, the corrected reading is shown with the time it was taken. The page may also carry a short note saying what was wrong, so that a reader who saw the old figure understands what changed.
What this desk cannot answer
This desk cannot give personal investment advice. It cannot tell you whether to buy, hold, or sell a stock. It cannot help with a broker's account, including FxPro, and it cannot answer questions about your own tax filing. The figures here describe what things cost, not what a reader should do.
No one at this desk will recommend a stock or a strategy. The site is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. If you need help with an account, go to your broker. If you need advice, go to a licensed financial adviser. The dividend desk only measures and republishes a rate.
How the site is funded
The Dividend Desk links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, the desk is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the only commercial relationship the site has.
The affiliate link does not change the numbers on any page. The measurement is taken before the link is drawn, and the source is always named. A reader who never clicks the link is reading the same figures as everyone else. The site exists to publish the measurement, not to sell brokerage accounts.
